Seasonal Night Shift Picker
Amalgamated Dairies Limited Foods Division - Summerside, PE Amalgamated Dairies Limited (ADL) is a producer owned co-operative with dairy processing and retail food distribution facilities throughout PEI. Founded in 1953 ADL is one of the largest food processors on PEI with markets located across Canada and globally. The company is looking to add strength to our Foodservice Team and has an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and progressive organization. Position Overview: The primary role of the Night Shift Picker is to load, unload, sort, and move shipments, pack orders, maintain the warehouse, and communicate with the Night Shift Coordinator to ensure product quality and accuracy of orders. Wage Rate: $21.59 / hour Term: Start mid/late March until mid/late October Schedule: Sunday \xe2\x80\x93 Thursday (7:00PM \xe2\x80\x93 3:30AM) Responsibilities:

• Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort, and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment.
• Pick, pack and prepare products for shipping.
• Build / stack pallets in proper customer sequence.
• Stack pallets in a manner that does not cause product damage.
• Perform tasks in multi-temperature environments.
• Re-Pack products as required.
• Confer with Night Shift Coordinator to rectify issues such as damages, shortages, and substitutions.
• Perform tasks in multi-temperature environments.
• Verify condition of product before packing order.
• Maintain warehouse.
• Complete all required paperwork.

Qualifications:

• A considerable experience in a warehouse position.
• Must be dependable and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to remain attentive to details.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Forklift certification an asset.
• Fall Arrest certification an asset.
