which encompasses both Pioneer Lodge in

Sundre

and Pioneer Ranch in

Rocky Mountain House

Description

Every year we hire Summer Program (May - August) staff to serve the hundreds of children and youth who come to Pioneer Camp. With two sites in operation (Sundre and Rocky Mountain House), we have twice the opportunity for you to experience being part of a team!

The ideal candidates will align with our mission, values, and strategic priorities.

Maintenance personnel (Sundre and Rocky Mtn House)

Program Staff (Sundre and Rocky Mtn House)

Administration Staff (Rocky Mtn House)

Lifeguard (Rocky Mtn House)

Barns Staff (Sundre and Rocky Mtn House)

Head Cooks and Kitchen Assistants (Sundre and Rocky Mtn House)

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with ACA (Alberta Camping Association), CCI (Christian Camping International), and health and safety regulations, as well as local, provincial, and federal standards. Collaborate with the year-round Alberta Pioneer Camp team to support various camp initiatives and activities as needed.

Requirements

Experience in a similar role within a summer camp setting. Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Commitment to the mission and values of Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship of Canada. Willingness to learn and be apart of a team.
