In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting in the preparation and serving of delicious food from our food truck. This is a great opportunity for a newly graduated culinary student, looking to build a brand and following, enroute to running their own restaurant.
Duties
Prepare and serve food items according to established standards.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food truck, including cooking equipment, utensils, and serving areas.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing customer orders and handling cash transactions accurately.
Provide friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and sanitation practices is essential.
A team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help others as needed.
