We're Hiring: Vac Truck Operator (Class 3)

We're looking for a Vac Truck Driver to join our team and operate hydro-vac trucks on a variety of job sites. This role requires a dependable, safety-conscious operator who's comfortable working outdoors, handling equipment, and supporting field crews in all conditions.

What You'll Be Doing

Operate vac trucks to perform hydro-vac excavation and clean-out services Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and keep logs up to date Transport and dispose of waste materials in compliance with environmental standards Navigate to job sites and follow supervisor instructions accurately Assist ground crew with setup, safety spotting, and cleanup as needed Maintain vac truck cleanliness and report mechanical issues promptly Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic regulations Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients and team members
What We're Looking For

Valid Class 3 license with a clean driver's abstract Previous experience operating vac trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles preferred Ability to work in physically demanding, outdoor environments Strong understanding of safety procedures and environmental guidelines Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented Willingness to assist with general labour tasks when not driving Comfortable working long hours or extended shifts during peak season

Position Type: Full-time, seasonal or permanent depending on fit and availability

Pay: $15.80-$54.43 per hour
