SEASONAL FARM LABOURER
Cavendish Farms is a leading producer of frozen food products for retail and foodservice markets throughout Canada, the United States and around the world. We have two state-of-the-art potato processing plants in PEI, another in Jamestown, ND and Lethbridge, Alberta and an appetizer plant in Wheatley, ON. Our Head office is in Dieppe, NB and sales office locations are in Toronto, Montreal and Boston.
Our planting season starts mid- April to end of June for approximately 6-8 weeks and is heavily influenced by the weather. Our team must work together in a safe manner to complete the work. Location is 281 Old station Road, New Annan
All employees will need to be willing to work outside as well as available to work extended hours and weekends. Other duties may be assigned in addition to those listed.
There is a seasonal bonus available based on working safely and meeting production targets.
Wage- $16.89/hr
Successful Candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Able to lift 50lbs regularly
• Able to do repetitive work that requires high attention to detail

Key responsibilities:

• Grading and planting potatoes including seed cutting
• Equipment and yard maintenance, irrigation
• Equipment operation, if qualified
