Seasonal Chess Instructor

Job Description
We are dedicated to providing engaging and enriching extracurricular programs for children. We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Chess Instructor to join our team for the upcoming seasonal program.
Students will work on simple English storybook illustrations and learn creative thinking through storytelling and art. The role is both educational and creative, designed to inspire confidence and imagination in children.
Student Age Groups:
5-7 years old
8-12 years old
Responsibilities:
Teach chess classes to students ages 5-12 in a supportive and engaging manner. Develop lesson plans that combine strategy, problem-solving, and fun activities. Encourage students to think critically and develop their chess skills. Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of chess rules, strategies, and tactics. Prior teaching or coaching experience preferred. Ability to work with children and create a positive learning environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Availability during the program schedule (summer camp/winter camp/spring camp)
