What you will be doing

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Lead / Manager, the Accounts Receivable Summer Student is responsible for overseeing the Accounts Receivable segment in the Accounting Department by ensuring all Customer payments are processed and collected according to the company\xe2\x80\x99s policies and procedures. Additionally, the Accounts Receivable Summer Student responsibilities include maintaining the relationship with the customers and working on continuous process improvement within the AR roles and responsibilities. This role involves frequent internal and external contacts within well-defined procedures.

What are we looking for?

Innomar Strategies is looking for Summer Students to join our team. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for dynamic, passionate, and driven students looking to gain hands on experience within a variety of different departments. We have opportunities available within our Finance Department.

What will you do?

As a Summer Student with Innomar, you will assist with a variety of assignments within our Finance Department. You will be supported by a designated manager through the summer, and you will assist with a variety of function-specific job assignments. You will also contribute to the completion of established projects and initiatives.

The goal of our Summer Student placements is to provide meaningful job opportunities to students.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • You are enrolled in an undergraduate program with an accredited post-secondary institution in a Finance related program
  • You are available on a full-time basis between May 09th \xe2\x80\x93 August 31st 2023
  • You have strong organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork and leadership skills
  • Good analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
  • Knowledge of computers to operative effectively with PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and Microsoft Outlook
  • Bilingualism \xe2\x80\x93 French/English an asset
  • Customer service experience an asset
  • Must be eager to learn, self-motivated, flexible, accountable and can effectively handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Good project management skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a post-secondary institution. Must be able to work between 8 and 40 hours per week, depending on the department\'s needs.
