Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for garment alteration and repair, ensuring that each piece meets the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. As a Tailor, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert alterations that enhance the fit and appearance of their clothing.
Duties
Perform alterations on various types of garments, including dresses, suits, and casual wear. Use sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to execute alterations with precision. Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available. Handle repairs such as hemming, patching, and replacing zippers or buttons.
Skills
Proficient in basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in all alterations. Ability to operate sewing machines and use various sewing techniques .
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
Work Location: In person
