Agile Marketing, Scrum Master
At Rogers, we are on a journey to grow our Agile Marketing practice and we are seeking a Scrum Master to help us nurture and accelerate the adoption of Agile Marketing best practices while achieving business outcomes. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and this new way of working helps us drive growth, uncover new opportunities, empower our teams and rapidly adapt to market shifts and the evolving needs of our customers. The Scrum Master will drive the appropriate Agile methodology focused on consistent, quality delivery and driving continuous improvement of the teams. The approach focuses on teamwork and flexibility, with the goal of increasing marketing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Marketing team to create clear goals and product backlog
Proactively identify impediments to the team and appropriately resolve
Introduce new and advanced practices to improve the team and performance
Solicit team feedback to identify areas of opportunity and work with team to continuously improve
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and events including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews
Continuously refine and improve quality of stories ensuring business value and acceptance criteria are clearly articulated
Assist the Business Owner to prioritize stories by keeping the backlog groomed
Provide coaching and support to team members on agile practices, and mindsets
Manage resources, risk, quality, scope, and deliverables
Manage dependencies between teams, and facilitate collaboration and common understanding with stakeholders
Track and ensure visibility of team metrics and progress of sprints in Jira
Collaborate with other teams and scrum masters to manage cross dependencies and sequencing of deliverables
Support Scrum of Scrums community of practice with knowledge sharing and toolkit development
What You Bring:
Minimum 3 years working as a Scrum Master
CSM/SAFe/KanBan certified or equivalent experience
Experience working in a marketing, technology or other business focused agile environments
Strong business acumen with knowledge of agile marketing principles
Strong knowledge of jira and collaboration tools (Mural, Whiteboard etc)
Working knowledge of lean principles and agile at scale
A keen and demonstrated interest in learning opportunities to further develop self and community
A continuous improvement mindset to drive improvements to team performance
Ability to resolve conflict and improve team dynamics
Ability to facilitate group discussions and meetings with key stakeholders
Ability to be an agent of change modeling the mindsets and practices of Agile
Superior decision-making, consensus building and conflict resolution skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills both in person and written
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting stakeholder expectations
Experience with the MSFT teams, Office 365
A good knowledge of English is necessary as this role requires regular communication in English with customers and/or team members in other provinces.\xe2\x80\x8b
