Currently seeking to add a

SCRAPER OPERATOR

to our team.

Title:

Scraper Operator

Location:

Edmonton, AB

Position Type:

Full Time Seasonal

Reporting To:

Foreman

Responsibilities and Duties

Operate scraper in a safe and efficient manner to meet production deadlines

Conduct pre-trip/walk around inspections

Check fluids daily, fill as required

Stripping, land clearing, cutting to specified grades

Interpret grade stakes and have a basic understanding of construction layout

Confidently operate scraper in close proximity to ground personnel, other mobile equipment, and other obstructions

Maintain cleanliness of equipment and report/log any maintenance requirements

Understand, interpret and follow direction from supervisor

Follow all health and safety policies and conduct work that follows all OH&S requirements

Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience as a scraper operator considered an asset

Thorough understanding of construction site safety practices

Ability to work weekends and overtime shifts when required

Must have own means of transportation

Valid class 5 driver's license
