Job Description

We're looking for a warm and reliable individual to join our scoop crew. If you love making someone's day, are great with people of all ages, and want to be part of a fun, values-driven team - we want to meet you. Preference for those 18+ due to late night shifts and requirements to work alone. Must be available days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Currently a part-time role (approximately 20 hrs/week), can increase to full-time starting in May.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Warmly greeting and interacting with guests Knowledgably guiding guests through the menu Preparation of menu items Operating our POS system, handling cash and credit/debit transactions with utmost accuracy Opening and closing duties Preparing waffle cones Maintaining a clean and safe work environment Replenishing supplies, assist with keeping track of stock Quality and portion control Ability to multi-task without getting easily frazzled

Considerations:

Must be aware of and comfortable with the physical nature of the job; including climbing stairs, lifting (20kg), repetitive movement, and standing for long periods of time

Qualifications:

Available between 11am - 10pm weekdays, weekends and holidays

Have current AHS approved food handler's certificate, or be willing to obtain one 1 year retail or restaurant experience Meticulous; able to consistently maintain high quality standards comfortable working effectively under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
