Key Responsibilities:
The Scooper Mobile officer (SMO) shall comply with the following or perform the activity described below.
Patrolling the terminals and tagging any scooper vehicles parked.
Patrolling and monitoring the Uber lot and pick-up locations for Scooper activity.
Patrolling the garage during when required
Assisting with CVO enforcement related to illegal commercial vehicles (e.g. shuttle services)
Provide vehicular and pedestrian traffic direction and control on the Groundside area of the Airport by facilitating the movement of vehicular traffic.
Directing or controlling the movement of vehicles at specific locations.
Directing commercial and public vehicles along their respective traffic lanes.
Institute regular patrols at various times each day in these areas and others, direct both vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and provide the public with relevant information concerning vehicle parking, stopping, and the loading and unloading of vehicles in a courtesy and consistent manner.

Relieve the congestion and/or ensure vehicles or pedestrians move in a safe, secure, orderly and efficient manner.
Obtain vehicle counts.
Assist curbside staff when needed.
Train new upcoming staff.
Prepare reports (i.e. Scooper Mobile Report)
Perform all other related duties as required
Prerequisites:
Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
Valid G Ontario Driver's License
Must provide with Valid 3 year clean Driver's Abstract
English (oral and written) fluency is a must
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB certification program prior to their onboarding training
Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
