Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
To provide a social recreational program supporting children ages 6-12. The program will introduce new-to-Canada children to the community and other children while providing various programming activities. The focus will be to connect vulnerable children to the community and nature through a variety of recreation-based learning opportunities.
Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 1:30pm-5:30pm
Qualifications
Post-secondary education relating to area of work; such as Education, Child & Youth Care, Social Work or Psychology.
Experience planning recreational activities for large groups of children
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Current First Aid Certificate
Current Food Safe Certificate
Class IV driver's license
Condition of Employment:
The successful candidate must complete and successfully pass a Criminal Record Check.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.95 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
