Job Title: School Liaison Worker Employment Status: 50% Permanent (3.75 hours per day) School/Location: Parkland Elementary School Start Date: September 6, 2022 Posting #: 03-SLW-22 The School Liaison Worker, under the direction of the School Principal and Student Services Administrator and as a member of the school student support team, will provide successful integration of students into our school system and support families in connecting / accessing resources. The Liaison Worker will be supportive to the family in facilitating a cooperative relationship with the school. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Experience and/or training in the advertised position
• Ability to relate to the school community and community value base
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate in High German, Low German and/or Russian would be an asset
• Effective written, verbal and listening communication skills
• Highly effective organizational and time management skills
• Abilities in the use of computers and computer software
• Applicants must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license and have access to a vehicle

Salary and Benefits: The compensation package for this position is in accordance with the July 1, 2020 School Liaison Worker Salary grids. Wage range will be - $17.92 - $22.33 per hour.
