Duties include:

Conduct pre and post-trip inspections of vehicle Communicate with passengers, schools, dispatchers and/or other drivers Drive school buses to transport children between school and home Ensure children's safety when boarding and disembarking buses, and crossing the street while the bus is stopped Maintain control of student activities during travel to prevent distractions or behaviors that could compromise safety Maintain a tidy vehicle

Qualifications:

Solid Customer Service Skills and Experience Age 21 or over (MTO Requirement) Valid Class "G" or higher Ontario Driver's License Clean Driver's Abstract MTO Medical Evaluation Clean Criminal Record Check / Vulnerable Sector Screening

Ontario 'G' Class Driver's License (required) Must be 21 years old or older - Ministry of Transportation Requirement Applicants must live in or near Newmarket, Bradford, Holland Landing, Keswick, Sutton, Mt. Albert, East Gwillimbury or West Gwillimbury
