Maintains all aspects of staff scheduling while adhering to collective bargaining agreements and staffing guidelines of all departments within the scheduling office.Responsible for inputting and maintaining schedules for all in-scope Direct Support Professionals. Provides collaborative support to Administrative Coordinator, Finance, Human Resources, and the Executive Director.
Responsibilities:
Administration
Effectively manages time and prioritizes competing demands.
Effectively manages emails and phone calls
Other duties as assigned.
Scheduling
Receive scheduling calls and texts immediately within scheduling hours and fill vacant shifts as needed
Input and maintain electronic scheduling rotations for all employees from the master rotations approved by Human Resources.
Post schedules every twenty-eight (28) days in accordance with the CBA requirements.
Receive, track, and input Information related to scheduling
Input changes to the schedule that arise
Schedules meetings, orientations, and training as needed.
Receive, consider, and respond to time off requests from in-scope employees in accordance with the CBA.
Effectively manage scheduling coverage for time off requests, leaves of absence, and vacancies in a way that honours the CBA and Saskatchewan Employment Act,minimizes staffing costs, and maximizes agency efficiencies.
Track and provide data for the Attendance Support Policy.
Keep current and accurate records on scheduling and shift assignments to support decision-making and provide data for inquiries and grievances.
Lead the training with scheduling processes, including electronic scheduling programs , Time Clocks, and Attendance Support Policy.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Experience in scheduling and/or administration work would be an asset.
Experience leading in a unionized environment would be an asset.
Experience in the disability sector and/or non-profit environments would be an asset.

Strong computer skills and ability to learn, use, and support staff with relevant software programs
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism, demonstrating dignity and respect as well as person-centred philosophy and promotion of inclusion for people experiencing disability.
Strong interpersonal communication skills, including verbal and written communication, active listening, and positive approaches to conflict resolution.

Must provide a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search prior to starting employment.
Working Conditions:
Will work weekends/evenings as scheduled.
Work will involve difficult conversations and managing conflict.
May be required to work alone, deal with unpredictable behaviours and situations, participate in physically demanding activities, moving equipment, and/or exposed to communicable illness.

Pay: $25.96 per hour
