JOB OVERVIEW


Harbour City Kitchens Inc. is in search of a friendly and outgoing Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. As the Service Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be coordinating and scheduling all cabinet deliveries and service orders. The scheduler will contact customers and contractors to set up times for deliveries. They will work collaboratively with the installers, contractors, service team, sales team, and shipping department to ensure all delivery targets are met. They balance the availability and resources against incoming requests to ensure all projects are delivered on time and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in priorities or deadlines. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a timely and satisfactory resolution of customer service requests, while upholding the standards, values, and goals set by Harbour City Kitchens.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES



Customer Service

Contact clients and contractors to efficiently schedule deliveries. Follow up and interact with customers and contractors regarding deliveries. Communicating with the Shipping departments to ensure jobs are completed and ready for delivery. Coordinate with the Service department to guarantee installers are on site within company policy timeframe. Schedule third party shipping companies if deliveries are running behind/can't hit targets. Proficiently navigate Windows-based computer. Effectively navigate Zoho software to optimize current and future schedules. Accurately document all customer delivery requests in computer-based system. Review Delivery Reports and reconcile discrepancies as needed. Work well within a team Participate in quality assurance processes/programs/initiatives as requested.

TO HAVE



Previous experience in a customer service or service coordination role, preferably in the construction or home improvement industry, is beneficial. The ability to read job plans (kitchen, vanity, closet etc.) and identify parts is an asset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with customers, service installers, and internal teams. Active listening skills are important to understand customer needs and effectively convey information. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage service orders, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accurate documentation and efficient scheduling. Proficient problem-solving skills to assess and resolve customer service issues in a timely and satisfactory manner. Adaptability and resourcefulness in finding solutions are valuable traits. Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive customer experience throughout the service process. Ability to collaborate effectively with service installers, internal departments, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and timely resolution of service requests. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in using customer service software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office applications. Display professionalism, integrity, and a customer-centric attitude in all interactions, representing the values and standards of Harbour City Kitchens.

- $23 - $27/hr depending on experience
