  • College or Technical Diploma in relevant field
  • Experience in mechanical work planning and scheduling in a unionized environment is an asset.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong sense of time management to meet maintenance deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with various departments to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions in critical situations.
  • Ability to assume supervisory or management duties.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft\xc2\xae Office suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proficiency with SAP CMMS scheduling or similar software.

Do you meet the requirements for this job?No, Return to JobsMaintenance Scheduling CoordinatorKruger Products | Produits Kruger New Westminster, British Columbia (Onsite) Full-timeJob DetailsThe Maintenance Scheduling Coordinator\'s primary objective is organizing and ensuring efficiency in the Maintenance Department while maximizing our material and personnel resources. They are responsible for overseeing work order quality and ensuring the work order management cycle remains efficient. The incumbent will also manage the mill\'s mechanical maintenance and service planning system.Job Duties:
  • Ensure compliance with the Work Order Management process. Carrying out audits of the parts kitting of work orders for planned shutdowns.
  • Work closely with the operation teams as well as with all members of the maintenance teams. Maximize the use of available resources in order to keep the equipment in good working order.
  • Coordinate planned shutdowns as well as the annual shutdown. Ensure shutdown planning meetings as well as post-mortems. With the help of the various stakeholders required, elaborates the critical path, and maximizes planned shutdowns.
  • Be aware of and understand all work orders of critical paths for weekly and planned shutdowns. Schedule daily work orders and schedule labour for the entire week
  • Ensure compliance with established standards and safe procedures for tasks. Ensure that employees have received all the training required to perform their duties. Maximize the use of maintenance management software, support and train users in your sector and, if necessary, those in the rest of the plant.
  • Compile the required maintenance information in our CMMS. Develop, in conjunction with the sector engineer and maintenance supervisors, inspection rounds and preventive maintenance of the various equipment. Generate preventive maintenance in the service software.
  • Responsible for designing weekly and monthly KPI\'s reports regarding maintenance activities and production shutdowns.
  • Prepare and facilitate all planning meetings of the maintenance department.
  • Manage the replacement of in-house workforce by subcontractors when required.
  • Improve the efficiency of maintenance activities by coordinating the administrative and day-to-day activities of employees.
  • Track KPIs or any improvement metrics and communicate results to the manufacturing team on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure to schedule follow-up of vibration and lubrication issues.
  • Apply Kruger\'s environmental policy in its day-to-day tasks. Comply with environmental, legal, and corporate requirements and follow related procedures. Report all potential environmental incidents and hazards.
