The Scheduling Clerk provides administrative support to St. Josephs Continuing Care Centre by managing staff schedules, processing requests for time off, and performing time verification functions for payroll purposes. They develop work schedules for all departments and manage the internal job posting system in accordance with collective agreement provisions. The Scheduling Clerk plays a key role in staff on-boarding and orientation processes and coordinates staff replacement activities to ensure optimal staffing levels.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Post-Secondary Education in Office Administration, Administrative Assistant, or related programs
Experience in multi-department scheduling, preferably in a healthcare environment
Experience with scheduling software (including Quadrant) is an asset
Strong computer skills including Excel and Word
Work requires close attention to detail along with superior organizational and time management skills
Strong interpersonal and communications skills and an ability to work with staff and managers across all disciplines
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands and frequent interruptions
COVID-19 Vaccination (2 doses) is a requirement in our workplace
