Part Time TRANSPORT SCHEDULER ASSISTANT for Kapachee Family Support Transport Program

The scheduler will confirm details of work orders to transport children and/or family members. A contract will be created with details of distance, hours, meals required and a description of the task and will then schedule a transporter. All the details required to carry out the work order will be recorded and communicated to the transporter by the scheduler. Any changes or cancellations to the work order will need to be monitored and communicated to the transporter. The Transport Scheduler will need to be available to drivers on route or upon arrival to assist and troubleshoot situations if needed. This position will require scheduler to work flexible hours, evenings, and some weekends.

Knowledge of Social Services and business practices

Experience with scheduling & logistics

Computer skills - multiple software programs

Communication & interpersonal skills

Experience working with vulnerable populations

Knowledge of Saskatchewan roadways & cities

Ability to work flexible hours & weekends

Well-developed organizational skills & time management

Able to work independently

Ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly

Ability to multi-task effectively

Starting wage $22.00

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week

Work Location: In person
