Scheduler / Manpower Coordinator

Job Description

Whitewater is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manpower Coordinator to oversee the scheduling and coordination of field staff. This role ensures that crews are effectively assigned to current and upcoming projects while supporting smooth logistics and communication across the organization.

Responsibilities:



Build, organize, and dispatch crews for ongoing and forecasted projects. Coordinate logistics such as scheduling, journey management, crew transportation, accommodations, flights, and vacation approvals. Communicate with field staff regarding workload, schedules, and project requirements. Maintain spreadsheets to track and report personnel needs. Complete administrative tasks, including credit card reconciliations and client-specific site documentation. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders. Provide backup support to the Fleet Coordinator when needed.

Qualifications:



2-4 years of experience in scheduling, travel coordination, or senior administrative roles. Strong client-facing and internal communication skills. Ability to handle difficult conversations and resolve conflicts professionally. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Proven ability to collaborate, share information, and thrive in a team environment.

Requirements



Proven working experience in an operational resource management environment Must reside in the Grande Prairie region 12 days on, 6 days off schedule
