Our Aylmer, Ontario facility specializes in the production of infused pre-rolls and features automated vape filling capabilities.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Production Scheduler to join our dynamic Planning and Procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining production schedules to meet the demands of our brand, tolling, and wholesale clients. You'll play a key role in coordinating activities across departments to ensure operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with Health Canada and CRA reporting requirements.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and has experience leveraging ERP systems to support production planning and inventory management. With strong communication and problem-solving skills, you'll collaborate closely with operations and management teams to drive continuous improvement, streamline processes, and support Organigram's ongoing growth and complexity.

Description

Review and interpret production demands for brand, tolling and wholesale clients Develop and optimize production schedules to meet client demands

Develop and implement dynamic scheduling tools that support accurate and efficient

scheduling as Organigram grows and increases in complexity

Reconcile production against the schedule daily Interface with the operations management team to confirm scheduling inputs incl;

constraints, production rates and optimization opportunities

Coordinate production across departments for maximum efficiency and throughput Assist in month end inventory reconciliations for Health Canada and CRA reporting Prompt cannabis procurement and product shipments as required to meet demands Provide production reports and document downtime / schedule non-conformance for review with the management team Evaluate inventory levels across all phases of production, ensuring adherence to inventory safety stock targets Review aged/obsolete inventory and provide recommendations on how to repurpose or

otherwise deplete

Actively participate and engage in continuous improvement strategies and cost reduction initiatives, including the building, implementation, and use of master production scheduling and material resource planning in ERP system; and Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Post secondary education in a related discipline 2 -5 years' experience in scheduling and production planning in a manufacturing/production environment Experience using ERP systems (Dynamics365, SAP etc) is preferred Experience within Cannabis industry is considered an asset Strong time management skills including ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure to meet strict deadlines Self-motivated and high ownership of work Strong computer (MS Excel advanced XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Table, Power Pivot,etc) and math skills Strong communication skills; able to discuss operational requirements with all levels of personnel Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
