IO\xe2\x80\x99s Project Delivery Enterprise Team delivers some of the province\xe2\x80\x99s largest and most important public infrastructure projects, including new hospitals, highways, transit systems, and courthouses. The role is responsible for the assembly and monitoring of project schedule information, ensuring program-wide consistency is implemented and executed. The role is also responsible for implementation of an integrated program-wide and cross functional master schedule for both P3 and non-P3 programs.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop, implement and use standard and project-specific planning and scheduling procedures in accordance with the enterprise and project requirements and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Review schedule baseline, recovery, progress and performance, asses the compliance of the schedule identify potential risks, issues and problem areas and help/facilitate their resolution.
  • Conduct critical path analysis and highlighting time-related issues and risks, analyzing schedule disruptions, determining root causes, identifying mitigation/recovery strategies and opportunities to accelerate completion of the work
  • Work closely with risk lead to develop a summary schedule suitable for quantitative schedule risk analysis
  • Review and evaluate construction claims, their validity and assess schedule impacts due to changes/claims.
  • Manage schedule progress measurement and earned value on all the projects on a program-wide basis.
  • Interact with stakeholders within project teams, third party advisors, and external clients to IO to ensure consistent inputs and gathering of project schedule information occurs in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

What We\xe2\x80\x99re Looking For:

  • A few years of progressive hands-on experience delivering project scheduling services for capital projects on large multi-discipline civil and social engineering projects, preferably with exposure to Civil (Highways and Road) projects or programs.
  • Academic and/or professional knowledge of Construction, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Commerce.
  • Hands-on experience in planning and preparing logic diagrams, critical path networks and bar charts, with particular emphasis on detailed construction schedules.
  • Demonstrated experience in claims management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 and other relevant Scheduling software platforms/tools.
  • Knowledge of schedule risk analysis and quantitative risk assessments methodology in the execution of QSRA for schedule.
  • Experience with P3 programs with solid understanding of the various specific P3 delivery model.
  • PMI, AACE are assets.
