L\'assistant.e de recherche participera \xc3\xa0 une recherche sur la gouvernance internationale des ressources g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9tiques (terrestres et marines), des s\xc3\xa9quences d\'informations num\xc3\xa9riques, ainsi que des connaissances traditionnelles associ\xc3\xa9es d\xc3\xa9velopp\xc3\xa9es par les peuples autochtones et les communaut\xc3\xa9s locales.
Qualifications min.
- Connaissance pr\xc3\xa9alable du droit international de l\'environnement
- Connaissance pr\xc3\xa9alable du droit transnational de la propri\xc3\xa9t\xc3\xa9 intellectuelle
- Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 mener des recherches de mani\xc3\xa8re ind\xc3\xa9pendante
- Bonne connaissance des outils de recherche de la biblioth\xc3\xa8que de l\'Universit\xc3\xa9 d\'Ottawa
- Excellentes comp\xc3\xa9tences r\xc3\xa9dactionnelles en anglais et/ou en fran\xc3\xa7ais

Nature of Work
The Research Assistant will support research on the international regulation of genetic resources (terrestrial and marine), digital sequence of information, and associated traditional knowledge developed by Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities.
Min. Qualifications
- Prior knowledge of international environmental law
- Prior knowledge of transnational intellectual property law
- Ability to conduct research independently
- Good knowledge of the research tools of the University of Ottawa library
- Excellent writing skills in English and/or French
- Experience with different citation styles.
