Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Clerk for our metal recycling facility. We are passionate about creating a cleaner future through responsible recycling. You will be the first point of contact for our customers and drivers and the role is critical in ensuring smooth operations at our Scalehouse. Strong computer and organizational skills and attention to detail are highly valued.

Responsibilities



Scrap metal program knowledge is a strong asset however we will train the right candidate. Handle front desk duties, including greeting customers, accurate weighing, data entry and managing phone systems. Communicate with both drivers and customers to maintain smooth service. Assist with appointment scheduling and follow-up communications Support bookkeeping activities and ensure all documentation is properly organized Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to office policies and procedures

Experience



Prior office experience, including clerical, customer service or administrative roles, is preferred Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Proven customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and support experience.
Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week

Work Location: In person
