Scala Developer Location :Toronto(Hybrid) Fulltime JD: - Scope of duties: - Candidate will develop web, messaging and object cache data services using Scala and/or Java, implemented according to Reactive design patterns and a microservices architecture - The services will be deployed globally and integrate with a large number of endpoints and so request routing, cross-border data handling and data confidentiality will be mandatory components in the overall solution. These services will support critical business processes so must be reliable, resilient and performant - The common service framework will ultimately act as the service development platform for CPB and so will have broad impact across all lines of business Requirements: - Candidate should be proficient in any object oriented or function programming language. - 4 to 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 of experience in software development - Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering) - Must have skills for candidate: + Good problem solving abilities and hands on experience in writing code. + Experience with developing software that processes, persists and distributes data via relational and non-relational technologies + Should be able to adapt to changing technologies. + Experience with any RDBMS database and writing SQL queries. + Knowledge of Data exchange formats (JSON or XML) + Should be aware about CICD, Agile practices. + Good communication skills. Nice to have skills: scala, akka, Neo4j, any No-SQL database, Kafka Job Type: Full-time Salary: $130,000.00-$150,000.00 per year Benefits:
