Job Description

Safetech Scaffold Ltd is a scaffolding company located in Surrey, currently seeking a full-time yard Labourer/Driver. The yard labourer is responsible for the stacking and retrieving of gear/equipment in the yard. This is a physical role that requires bending, squatting, crouching reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds or more and working indoors/outdoors year-round. As a driver, the chosen candidate would be responsible to deliver and pick up scaffold equipment from job sites. Present above-average organizational skills. Be detail orientated in all aspects of the position. Be able to communicate efficiently in both written and verbal English. Be able to follow timelines and meet deadlines accurately. Be a quick learner and able to take directions from others. Be able to use basic tools, including power tools. Have steel toe boots and required PPE
Job duties:

Stacking, organizing and count scaffold gear Unload and load equipment on and off truck Keep truck clean and maintain yard Maintain truck logs daily and as needed Inspect gear prior to and after leaving the job site and document damages Use forklift to move equipment Drop off and pickup equipment to and from job sites
Job qualifications:

Have a Class 5 Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract - Required Confidently drive a pick-up truck, 3-Ton and 5-Ton truck - Required Knowledge of scaffold equipment (an asset) Forklift certification (an asset)

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
