Join a collaborative team that values precision, quality, and exceptional service. As a Sawyer, you will play a vital role in quality control, and operation of woodworking machinery, setting up and programming equipment to fabricate or repair wooden parts for our custom cabinetry.

Operate and maintain woodworking machinery Interpret and execute work from technical drawings, cut sheets, and production plans Ensure accurate cutting, sizing, and quality control of wood components Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure safety protocols are followed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace Collaborate with the production team to meet timelines and quality standards Support other shop operations as needed


Qualifications



The ideal candidate for this Sawyer role would likely possess the following qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum two (2) years of cabinetry, millwork, or carpentry experience

Machinery Knowledge:

Proficiency with woodworking machines such as beam saw, edge banders, CNC routers and hand/power tools

Technical Skills:

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cut sheets

Maintenance:

Familiarity with daily maintenance and troubleshooting of woodworking equipment

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and perform tasks involving standing, kneeling, crouching, and climbing

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills; ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions

Computer Literacy:

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn internal systems

Asset:

Forklift Certification

Compensation & Benefits



Full-time, Monday through Friday Shift 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Hourly pay with occasional overtime opportunities Paid vacation, holidays and sick days Benefits after 3 months: Dental, health spending account and extended health care Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
