Position Summary

Morning Shift: 6am to 3:30pm Monday - Thursday, 6am to 2:30pm Friday

We are seeking a Saw Operator to join our Operations team. This role plays a critical part in supporting fabrication workflows by accurately cutting and preparing metal components for HVAC unit assembly. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in metal work, strong measurement skills, and a safety-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings Operate saws and related equipment to cut metal sheets, angles, channels, and other components Measure and mark materials with precision using tape measures and other tools Organize tasks and plan workflow logically to meet production schedules Safely operate cranes and forklifts for material handling Maintain a clean and safe work environment Troubleshoot issues and apply critical thinking to solve fabrication challenges

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in metal fabrication or saw operation Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using measurement tools Strong organizational and time management skills Certification or training in crane and forklift operations Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely Commitment to safe work practices and team collaboration
