Mancor Industries is a world class precision manufacturer of metal components and sub-assemblies that use sheet metal cutting, forming, machining, welding, assembly and paint. We use state-of-the-art machining and fabrication techniques in a lean, self-directed work team manufacturing environment to produce high value-added, cost-effective products for our strategic partners.

We are looking for a Saw Operator to work in Production Department. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating saw machinery, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

Set up saw machines and make necessary adjustments for each job

Install stops or guides to specified lengths

Operate saw machines, monitoring for defects or issues during operation

Use measurement tools to ensure product accuracy

Assist in packing and transporting finished pieces

Accurately complete job-related paperwork

Support team operations as needed

CNC and drill experience considered an asset

Experience working with steel, mills, and drills preferred

Work overtime and shifts as required

Education and Experience

Prior work experience in working with sheet metal

High school or equivalent

Key Competencies

Responsible and reliable

Stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of work day

Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and crouch

Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position including regular lifting and carrying of 5-23 kgs

Ability to use hands to reach and to handle or feel

Manual dexterity in hands for tool usage

Ability to visibly inspect product

Will be trained on crane/hoist and/or forklift as required

Work well under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment

Good interpersonal skills; customer focused and a team player

Basic written and oral communication in English.

Salary and Benefits

Wage: CAD 18/ hr - 22/ hr (negotiable Depending on Experience)
