Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team. As a Saw Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining saw equipment to cut various materials according to specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for growth.

Duties:
- Operate saw equipment in our steel fabrication shop
- Set up and adjust saw blades, ensuring accurate measurements and cuts
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules
- Select appropriate materials for cutting based on specifications
- Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished products for defects or errors
- Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment
- Utilize hand tools such as plasma cutting, lathe, and other mechanical tools as needed
- Fabricate parts according to design requirements
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Experience:
- Previous experience operating saw equipment in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is an asset
- Proficiency in programming and operating CNC machines is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Familiarity with various hand tools used in fabrication processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
