JOB SUMMARY:
Working under the supervision of the Sous Chef, the incumbent will play a key role in preparing ingredients and finishing savory menu items for the Mount Pleasant Thierry location. The ideal candidate is a team player who works well under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and cook high quality foods
Maintain food safety and hygiene
Cook with precision and speed
Communicate and coordinate with the team, including front-of-house
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
At least one year of restaurant experience either pastry or savory cooking
Enrollment in or completion of a culinary program
Food Safe Certification
Ability to stand for long periods of time, withstand heat, and deal with the pressures of preparing food in a fast-paced environment
Dedicated team player
Extremely organized; keeping to deadlines and working with precision in a fast-paced environment
Responsible, motivated, and energetic self-starter
Excellent English communication skills
