We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious dishes while adhering to food safety standards and ensuring an efficient kitchen operation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards. Assist in the planning of menus, taking into account seasonal availability of ingredients. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Adapt to changing menus or special dietary requests as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. A passion for the culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
