Job Description


Join our Calgary transportation client as an SAP Integration Manager and play a pivotal role in unifying complex SAP landscape. As our client drives forward with the integration of their Canadian and US operations into a single Business Suite 7 SAP instance while Mexico continues with its separate SAP S/4 system, you will be at the forefront of designing and managing the integration strategy. This foundational roadmap project is crucial as they transition to SAP S/4 before the retirement of Business Suite 7 in 2027. You will lead the technical and process integration efforts, ensuring a seamless migration and setting the stage for a successful implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, plan, and optimize the integration process, and position our client for a robust future in SAP S/4.Advantages

Responsibilities
  • Ensures the solution design accounts for end-to-end process and technical integration requirements.
  • Leads and engages in working sessions to analyze process and reporting requirements.
  • Leadership and escalation point for resolution of cross-functional integration issues.
  • Working with the Project Manager and Senior IS leadership, ensures the SAP Roadmap is developed in alignment with other IS portfolio IS and Business initiatives (e.g., the initiative to integrate Mexico within Rail Operations)
  • Contributes input to the project planning for all integration work. Has accountability to ensure technical feasibility of all project plans and objectives.
  • Leads scoping and estimation of all integration work.
  • For the purposes of this initial Planning phase, this role will be responsible to lead the planning of the deployment options and staffing and effort estimation planning.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position or as a Senior SAP Leader.
  • Minimum of 2-3 implementations or major version upgrades as a Techno-Functional team leader or Integration Manager.
  • Previous experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Extremely effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in complex SAP environments, beyond simply core ECC or S/4.
  • Experience working successfully in large, complex, fast-paced organizations.
  • Proven experience with S/4.
