Job Description

Our Toronto based client is seeking for an experienced SAP Finance Project Manager to join their project immediately and will run for 12 months, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience delivering complex, multi-phase IT projects in an SAP environment within the finance domain along with deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA modules relevant to finance (FI/CO) including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and Project System and experience integrating SAP systems with other enterprise financial tools, such as Blackline and Ariba. This will be a hybrid role with the exact amount of on-site scheduled days to be confirmed.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage global SAP finance projects including system upgrades, integrations, and process optimizations across multiple regions and time zones.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders and sponsors to define project objectives, KPIs, and success metrics aligned with business priorities.
• Develop and own key project deliverables, including charters, project plans, risk assessments, closure reports, and lessons learned for future initiatives.
• Apply SAP project methodologies such as Activate or ASAP.
• Utilize reconciliation and transaction tools (e.g., Blackline) to support project outcomes.
• Employ project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) to plan, track, and report on project progress.
