The Corporate IT team is looking for a SAP Ariba Upstream Engineer with strong analytical skills and functional expertise in Ariba Sourcing, Contract and Supplier Management to become a part of the SAP COE(Centre of Excellence).

The candidate should have a strong business acumen and understanding of Ariba Upstream business processes and proven track record in designing and developing complex SAP Ariba enterprise solutions for global organizations.

In addition to a techno-functional mindset, the position requires responsibilities in support functions, interaction with a diverse business community and the need to resolve business critical issues promptly in a challenging and dynamic environment.

This role should have proven capability of working with business stakeholders to drive adoption in the Ariba space, design and deliver solutions for maximizing the value contribution of the Ariba investment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
• Min. 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing/supporting SAP Ariba Projects
• Extensive experience in Ariba Upstream (Sourcing, Contract Management, SLP) modules.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for supplier enablement, vendor management, content enablement and management, contract administration, e-invoicing, buying channel analysis
• Expertise in SAP Consulting, System Integration, Supply Chain Systems Configuration, Ariba and P2P area
• Lead supplier analysis efforts including establishing wave plans and ramp-up plans
• Provide client guidance on supplier communication planning
• Provide System Administrative support including managing groups, roles, permissions
• Project experience in requirement gathering, design, build, test, deploy and support phases.
• Experience in User integration and administration activities in Ariba would be an added advantage.
• Collaborate with other teams such as ERP and integration teams to understand the business requirement and ensure system functionality
• Hands on experience in creating and maintaining the analytics within the Ariba application
• Certification in these areas is preferred: SAP Ariba Sourcing, Contract, Supplier Management

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business functions to understand and define system requirements, recommend Ariba technical solutions to meet business needs.
• Analyze the business impact and highlight the key product/integration deficiency to the product owner
• Actively coordinate routine / monthly / quarterly regression testing for change deployments
• Create/maintain sourcing and contract template
• Perform clause changes/updates in case of business requirement
• Based on user requirements, and inputs from the Business Analysts, develop functional and technical specifications for SAP solutions
• Perform Unit , Integration & Regression E2E Testing
• Prepare training materials and provide training
• Provide estimates and contribute to defining timelines and project plans
• Work with project management to document and communicate risks and issues , and then recommend solutions
• Provide end-user support: problem analysis, resolution, escalation and reporting
• Mapping out visual workflow diagrams on current and future state processes

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
