Our national retail client is looking for a Junior Purchasing Specialist w/ experience in SAP and Ariba to support day to day store operations - 27991

Location: Mississauga - Hybrid - 4-5 days onsite (Fridays typically optional)

Duration: 10 months

Work hours: 37.5hrs/week

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for processing store orders and validating deliveries for all fixtures, equipment and supplies
• Work with Catalogue Teams to resolve any shopping cart issues
• Management of Deliveries
• Responsible for partnership with vendors and logistics for timely delivery of fixtures, equipment and supplies to stores to complete strategic initiatives, real estate projects and store operations as per timelines and within budget
• Manage shipment/delivery schedule for orders created by the Construction Manager in real estate projects
• Responsible to create and validate all PO\'s to eliminate: late deliveries for items with long lead time, duplicate PO\'s and rush PO\'s
• Investigate and solution PO related issues
• Responsible for adhering to process and programs developed to manage spend with strategic sourcing.
• Liaison with cross-functional partners to optimize centralized purchasing activities approved by Finance.
• Responsible to monitor budget spend for fixtures, equipment and supplies on all real estate and strategic projects
• Review trend analysis of project spend to improve controls and efficiency of processes

• 3+ years of Purchasing experience
• 3 years experience with SAP system
• SAP Ariba
• Microsoft Office skills

• Bilingual (French)
