For our 2025 Christmas season, we are seeking a seasonal store manager to manage and supervise Santa' Ville at Bayshore Shopping Centre. We are looking for an energetic and determined individual to join our current management team!
Role and Responsibilities
Ensure staff is placing great importance on customer service as customer service is integral to Santa'Ville
Approach and greet all customers with a smile and answer inquiries to the best of your ability.
Support team members and provide their daily task requirements
Assign daily tasks and duties to staff members and ensure that all assigned tasks are completed
Track and evaluate employee performance
Ensure completion of tasks
Raise team morale and encourage a positive work environment
Create weekly/biweekly schedules and ensure employee hours are balanced.
Provide oversight for employees who call in sick including arranging replacements as necessary.
Facilitate Inventory management responsibilities among the team
Conduct bi-weekly inventory counts
Report and log all broken/damaged inventory
Manage overstock
Daily inventory replenishment
Log and report all inventory discrepancies
Maintain the kiosk/store including ensuring it is presentable and clean throughout the day
Ensure the Point of Sale (POS) device is working properly
Communicate with HR personnel
Qualifications
1 - 3 years retail/customer service management experience
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Must be a team player with good communication, people management, and organization skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Flexible to work day, evening, and weekend shifts, based on business needs
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $21.25-$22.00 per hour
Experience:
Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
Work Location: In person
