We are seeking the right individual to fulfill a position,

in our Calgary office, as a:

SANITATION TECHNICIAN

We have an immediate opening for a full-time sanitation technician.

Responsibilities:

General cleaning of the warehouse, lunch rooms and offices: dusting, sweeping, and mopping, vacuuming, collecting waste, refill of soap and towel dispensers, cleaning of production equipment, storing of cleaning chemicals, preparing sanitizers,

Operating floor cleaners

Working with cleaning chemicals and supplies

Good housekeeping

Perform and document routine inspections and sanitation activities.

Perform all job duties in a safe manner that complies with safety requirements, including OH&S policies and procedures.

Requires willingness to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Ensure safe and Hygienic practices are applied.

Inventory management and record keeping

Qualifications:

Previous sanitation experience is required

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards would be an asset

Ability to follow directions and work instructions

Repetitive motion required on a daily basis constant bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, squatting, and lifting is required

Ability to deal with people in a positive and constructive manner

Highly organized; knowledgeable and follows the company's policies and procedures

Good written communication

Physically fit and able to lift or pull weight 20-50lbs

Must be committed to safe work practices.
