Hourly Rate:

$20.99 -23.32 +1.00 Afternoon Premium

Required Tasks

Dismantling, sanitizing and setup of equipment Some lifting involved Keen eye for cleanliness and safe use of chemicals Ensure all safety requirements are met such as personal protective equipment, WHMIS, lockout/tag out procedures, and chemical mixing precautions Comply with government regulations relating to food processing facilities Experience in food manufacturing an asset Knowledgeable in sanitation procedures (production equipment cleanup/setup, and building services) Willingness to work all shifts including Days, Afternoons, Overnights along with weekends Dedicated, articulate, attention to detail Team player with excellent mechanical ability

Ideal candidates must have;

Capable of working in a fast-paced environment Detail orientation Ability to work effectively on a night rotation High work ethics with a dedication to quality Previous factory work or equivalent experience Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) Ability to work within a team setting as well as independently Previous experience in food processing with knowledge of HACCP and GMP's would be considered an asset.
