Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and motivated Production Workers to join our manufacturing team. As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our spice blending and packaging lines. This role includes lifting/carrying 55lb bags, weighing, blending, filling, sealing, labeling, and inspecting products to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following
:
Operate machinery and equipment involved in blending and packaging spice products
Weigh and measure ingredients accurately based on formulation sheets
Mix, blend, and transfer raw materials following established procedures
Carry raw material and finished product up to 55lbs / bag
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment
Perform quality checks on products to ensure consistency and compliance with specifications
Package finished products into containers, label correctly, and prepare for shipping
Follow all safety, hygiene, and food handling procedures (GMP/HACCP standards)
Assist with inventory control by reporting low stock levels of materials or packaging
Complete production documentation and batch records accurately and timely
Work effectively in a team environment to meet production goals and deadlines
Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in food manufacturing or similar environment is an asset

Physically able to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs), stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Willingness to learn and adhere to safety and sanitation protocols
Work Environment:
This is a full-time, on-site role at our manufacturing facility. Remote work is not available for this position.
The role involves standing, lifting product that is up to 55lbs, consistently thorought the day
As a dry spice blending facility, the environment has a strong, distinct aroma due to spices such as garlic, pepper, and liquid smoke flavoring.
Steel-toed shoes are required. Lab coats, helmets, and hairnets will be provided and need to be worn daily. Would need to adhere to health and safety requirements and regulations.
Long period of concentration is required; the position involves managing many high-priority issues at once, and frequent interruptions may occur
