We're hiring a Sanitation Associate to help us keep our plant safe, spotless, and running smoothly.
Monday to Friday (flexible shifts - mix days/afternoons/evenings)
What You'll Do:
Clean and sanitize food processing equipment and plant areas (don't worry, we'll show you how) Follow safety and hygiene procedures to help maintain food safety certifications Fill out cleaning checklists and support inspections Operate cleaning equipment safely (e.g. foamers, hoses, power washer, floor scrubbers and more) Keep outdoor areas tidy (walkways, garbage, recycling, snow, etc.) Restock and order janitorial and PPE supplies as neededWhat You Bring:
A great attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn Comfortable working on your feet, in a fast-paced industrial setting, and with chemicals is essential You're comfortable using (or learning to use) equipment like forklifts, skid steers, and other cleaning gear -- we'll train you if needed Previous janitorial or sanitation experience is a bonus Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred Ability to work independently and follow instructions Flexible scheduleWhy Join MDI?
