Sandwich & Prep Cook
to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys early mornings and working in a fast-paced, supportive environment.Key Responsibilities
Prepare high-quality sandwiches according to Mix The Bakery standards Assist with daily soup preparation, including chopping, measuring, and cooking support Portion, label, and organize ingredients for daily service Support catering production (sandwich platters, lunch boxes, fruit/cheese platters, etc.) Maintain a clean and organized workstation Follow all food safety procedures and uphold Mix The Bakery quality expectations Restock items and assist with morning setup and daily closing tasks Communicate effectively with team members and management
Qualifications
Previous kitchen, deli, or prep cook experience preferred Strong attention to detail and consistency Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Comfortable with a
5:30 AM start time
Good communication and teamwork skills Food Safe Level 1 (or willingness to obtain) Ability to lift 20-30 lbs and stand for extended periodsWhat We Offer
