Now Hiring: Part-Time Permanent ( 20-35 hours) Prep Cook & Sandwich Maker at Lorina's Restaurant
Lorina's is currently seeking a part-time prep cook & sandwich maker to join our team in Torbay! We're looking for a mature, experienced individual with several years of experience in the restaurant industry who can assist in the kitchen with meal preparation, sandwich making and other various kitchen tasks.
Working Hours:
This position will start as soon as the right candidate is found. Applicants must be dependable and available for flexible shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends as needed. Opportunity to increase hours is available. Tips are pooled amongst all staff.
Store Hours:
Monday-Friday: 8am-7pm
Saturday: 9am-5pmSunday: Closed
*NO BUS ROUTE- Must have reliable transportation to Torbay
Qualifications & Experience
Prior experience in a restaurant kitchen setting is required Dependability Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and a willingness to learn Experience in sandwich making or meal prep/cooking is a strong asset
Responsibilities
Assist with prep cooking, sandwich, wrap, and salad making
Maintain a steady pace during busy hours and keep up with a flow of orders
Stay proactive during slower periods by cleaning, organizing, and prepping for upcoming rushesAbout Us:
