We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company recipes. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all food handling practices comply with health regulations. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to company policies. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food service industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of sanitation practices related to food handling is essential. Kitchen experience is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
