Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Sandwich Maker, you will play a key role in creating delicious meals that satisfy our customers.

Duties

Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of ingredients. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers and grills. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and responding to customer inquiries. Handle cash transactions using the POS system, ensuring accurate billing and change distribution. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Manage time effectively to maintain workflow during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cashiering duties and basic math skills for handling transactions is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus, as well as experience working in a kitchen setting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $17.55-$19.55 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
