We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a strong commitment to food safety and sanitation practices.

Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring adherence to sanitation guidelines Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer orders efficiently Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours Uphold food safety standards throughout all food handling processes

Skills

Strong food preparation skills with knowledge of food safety practices Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment Previous experience in food service or the restaurant industry is advantageous Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Familiarity with sanitation standards and kitchen experience is a plus Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
