SANDBLASTER Reporting to the Coatings supervisor, the Sandblaster is responsible for cleaning and refurbishing metal exteriors and interiors, industrial equipment and other surfaces using specialized equipment and techniques. This position is responsible for the operation of sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces for the next step in the production process. REQUIREMENTS ? Minimum one year manufacturing or related experience in sandblasting ? Knowledge of manufacturing and/or corrosion-control methods and processes ? Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly ? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision ? Knowledge of controlling, adjusting, starting and stopping sandblasting equipment for both grinding and polishing processes ? Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read blueprint instructions ? Strong attention to detail ? Valid Driver?s license and access to reliable vehicle WORKING CONDITIONS ? Overtime may be required ? Lifting or moving up to 80lbs may be required ? Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer, computer peripherals, hand tools and sandblasting equipment ? Work outdoors in all weather conditions Hours of work: Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits:
