Job Description

TurtleCreek Landscaping is seeking experienced and dependable Salt Truck Drivers to join our Winter Maintenance Team for the upcoming snow season (November 15 - April 15).

This position is

mandatorily on-call and weather-dependent

, with the potential for year-round employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:



Safely operate salt trucks and apply salt to commercial properties before, during and after snow events Be available for dispatch on short notice in all weather at all times Perform pre- and post-shift inspections of equipment Maintain accurate timesheets of sites serviced Work independently and follow route schedules efficiently

Qualifications:



Valid G License Clean driving record (driver's abstract may be requested) Previous experience in salt truck operation (required) Reliable transportation to and from the yard in Rockwood, ON Ability to work long hours and in challenging weather conditions (day, night, weekends, holidays) Strong communication skills and attention to safety
