We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salon Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction in our salon. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the beauty industry, and a proven track record in retail management. As a Salon Manager, while still working behind the chair, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and driving sales while maintaining an inviting and professional environment for both clients and employees.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily salon operations to ensure smooth functioning and exceptional customer service.
Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Manage payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting to maintain profitability.
Implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
Utilize POS systems for transaction processing and inventory management.
Supervise team members to ensure adherence to salon policies and procedures.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism.
Develop marketing strategies to promote services and attract new clients.
Conduct regular inventory assessments and manage purchasing of supplies.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the salon.
Requirements
Proven experience in retail management or salon management is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
Proficiency in negotiation, budgeting, payroll management, and bookkeeping.
Familiarity with merchandising techniques and retail sales strategies.
Experience with cash handling, cashiering, and POS systems is required.
Strong organizational skills with effective time management capabilities.
Ability to train staff in customer service excellence and technical skills.
Knowledge of marketing principles relevant to the beauty industry is advantageous.
Must possess strong math skills for budgeting and pricing tasks.
